Description

2-3″ cheerful, bright orange, gerbera daisy-like blooms on 2′ plants that will light up any garden or arrangement. Alpha Calendula has edible petals which can be used fresh to decorate salads and cakes or dried in ointments and tinctures to treat cuts and bruises. Used as a dye for food or fabric.

Planting Instructions:
Start Alpha Calendula indoors several weeks before last frost or direct sow in full to partial sun after last frost. Optimal soil temperature for germination: 70°F. Planting depth: 1/4″. Plant and row spacing: transplant or thin to 8-12.”
