Description
Early, heavy-yields of 3” oval-shaped, granny smith apple colored fruits caught our attention in 2019 eggplant trials. Then the thin tender skin, which doesn’t require peeling and smooth, firm flesh sealed the deal. Here was our champion. Apple Green has been a standout at farmers markets and specialty grocery stores since it’s development back in 1964 by plant breeder Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire Experiment Station.
