Cucumber – Telegraph

Description

In a world of new-fangled hybrid greenhouse cucumbers, there are still a few old open-pollinated workhorses that can hold their own. Telegraph Cucumber is an heirloom English cucumber that produces straight 12-16” cucumbers with excellent flavor, crisp texture, thin skin and parallel grooves that run the length of the fruit. 8’ plants require trellising and grow best indoors, but will produce fruit outdoors too. The relative lack of seeds make Telegraph a (burpless) delight to eat, but means we only have a very limited supply of seeds.
