An amaranth so attractive, we’ve made it into its own exclamation of delight here on the farm. Try it for yourself- “Hot Biscuits!” It feels right. Boasting a hard-to-find, terracotta-colored head with rusty-hued foliage, Hot Biscuits Amaranth is the definition of “rustic chic.” A tall, easy-to-grow and productive filler for fresh and dried arrangements. Nutritious grain is also easy to harvest if the birds don’t find it first!

Planting Instructions:
Direct seed Hot Biscuits Amaranth in late spring or early summer. Optimal soil temp. for germination: 65-85°. Planting depth: 1/8″. Thin plants to 6-18″, depending on desired size. Harvest in dry weather when grain readily falls off when brushed.
