Description

Stunning 2-3” wine-colored, feathery double and semi-double blooms on 42-46” sturdy stems. Double Click Cranberry Cosmos flowers will bring a friendly lightness to gardens and bouquets.  Easy to grow and long-lasting blossoms are a favorite of pollinators, beneficial insects, birds, butterflies and cut-flower growers. Their edible petals make a gorgeous garnish. Native to Mexico and the southwestern region of the US, but are happy to grow in the Pacific Northwest. The word “cosmos” means “ordered universe” or “harmony” in Greek.

Planting Instructions:
Start Double Click Cranberry Cosmos indoors in April – mid-June or direct seed in full sun after danger of frost.  Optimal temp for germination is 70-75°. Transplant or thin to 18″ spacing.

We grow the majority of our varieties here at Deep Harvest Farm on Whidbey Island while we purchase the rest from other small, organic Northwest seed growers.
