We’re now taking sign-ups for our 2024 Farm Share Program. We are thankful to say we always fill up fast!
Are you interested in enjoying organic-certified vegetables, learning to cook with the seasons, and supporting local farmers?
Sign up for Deep Harvest’s Farm Share Program (also known as Community Supported Agriculture or CSA) and receive weekly boxes of organic-certified vegetables, picked fresh the day you receive them. You’ll get a weekly newsletter with creative recipes, farmy photos, and info on local farm happenings and the inspiring world of sustainable agriculture.
We’re offering a 16-week Summer Share Program (June 11 through September 24), 9-week Fall Share Program (October 1 through November 26) and a 3-week Storage Crop Program (December 3-December 17).
Share Sizes
Each season we provide two different share sizes to best fit your household’s needs.
Regular Shares (8-9 items per week) are well suited to individuals or couples who enjoy cooking vegetables most meals or families who prepare veggies about four times a week. If you want to eat a healthier, more plant-based diet, go for a Regular Share. The two of us often use up a full CSA in just 2 or 3 meals, especially if we’re hosting dinner guests. Many customers tell us that having a plethora of produce in their fridge inspires them to cook and eat more healthfully than they would otherwise.
Petite Shares (5-6 items/week) are best for individuals, couples or small families who don’t have a super vegetable-centric diet, but still like having vegetables with a few weekly meals. If you’ve never been a CSA member before or are just getting back into cooking, a Petite share might be good place to start.
Storage Shares (4 large items/week). We’re trying something new for 2024! With the storage share folks get three weeks of squash, mixed alliums (onions, shallots, garlic), and either a cabbage, brussels sprouts and kale along with a hearty share of roots. This exciting new option will run for the first three weeks of December.
Trade options Each week you have the option of swapping two items in your share for different items of limited selection. This will allow us to address members’ dietary restrictions and personal tastes. We want everyone to leave pick-up excited about what they’re bringing home, minimizing the potential for wasted food.
