Description
Verdonnet Leek was introduced to us by Adaptive Seeds, who received it from the Irish Seed Savers Association. The best performing fall leek in our trials with noticeably vigorous growth and girth. They sport tall, white shanks and dark green leaves. While Swiss giant leeks tend to be planted for summer harvest, we found Verdonnet Leek able to hold well into winter. Seed grown by Adaptive Seeds.
