This cantaloup-type variety produces solid yields of 2-3 lb fruits with juicy orange flesh and creamy texture. Who doesn’t crave this as a refreshing snack after a hot long day of work? I’m sure you’re wondering what PMR stands for and it is Powdery Mildew Resistant, which is a great trait for any cucurbit in our area. Bred at Cornell University by Dr. Henry Munger.

We grow the majority of our varieties here at Deep Harvest Farm on Whidbey Island while we purchase the rest from other small, organic Northwest seed growers.
