Description
In 2020 we grew as many acorn squash varieties as we could get our hands on, evaluating a wide array of traits including plant vigor, fruit size, color, yields and, most importantly, flavor. Sweet REBA was a top competitor in nearly every category, besting even the most popular hybrids. Standing for Resistant Early Bush Acorn (REBA), the powdery mildew resistance aids in late-stage sugar development. The compact plants produce heavily yields of 2lb uniform fruits with dark green skin. Enjoy this squash halved and baked with a bit of butter and brown sugar. The perfect autumnal side dish or dessert!
