We’re looking for a farm crew member April-November. Help with field work for seed crops, veg and flowers three to four days a week. Learn the fundamentals of vegetable and seed production while working hard with a fun-loving crew. Prior farm experience is highly desirable and a strong work ethic and positive attitude essential. Likely job duties, in order of time requirement:
- Harvesting and/or washing produce in a high pace environment
- Tending vegetable crops (transplanting, weeding, pruning, irrigation, row cover, trellising)
- Tending seed crops (transplanting, weeding, pruning, irrigation, trellising, harvesting, cleaning)
- Managing small teams of volunteers during harvests
- Managing CSA pick-up and vegetable deliveries
