Description
If you’ve ever attempted growing spicy peppers in the PNW, you know it requires the right location, the right weather, and the right variety. Jaloro is that Jalapeno variety! Not only does its unique pale yellow color catch the eye, its reliable heat enlivens the taste buds. These strong plants pump out dozens of thick-walled fruits that are slightly larger than a typical green Jalapeno. Ideal for all your salsa, sauce, and nacho making needs. If left unharvested, the yellow turns to orange and then red, making for a beautiful array of colors of flavors that are stunning in a jar of pickled peppers. Annie made the absolute best fermented hot sauce with a combination of Jaloro Jalapenos, Ailsa Craig Sweet Onions, and Hilmar Carrots. This variety is a product of efforts of the Texas Agricultural Extension.
