Salad Mix – Sassy



Want pizazz on a plate? Get Sassy Salad Mix! With her mix of mild and slightly spicy mustards, asian greens and arugula, this ensemble of greens is as tasty as it is attractive. Tender and crisp when small, the mix can also be enjoyed in a stir-fry or saute if it gets away from you in the garden.

Days to Maturity: 21 to baby, 45 to full size

Planting Instructions:
Direct seed Sassy Salad Mix as soon as soil can be worked.  Plant every 2-3 weeks for continued harvest.  Planting Depth: 1/4.” Seeding rate: 4-5 per inch.  Row spacing: 12” for mature leaves, 5” for baby leaf.

All of our seed is Non-GMO and Certified Organic by Washington State Department of Agriculture. We grow the majority of our varieties here at Deep Harvest Farm on Whidbey Island while we purchase the rest from other small, organic Northwest seed growers. Finally, all of our offerings are open-pollinated (OP) so that you too can save and share seed from these plants!
