Description

Attention-grabbing, fully-double, white and apricot petals that fade to yellow with maroon centers.  As the name suggests, a glimpse at these blooms might feel like a psychedelic experience (as we’d imagine them to be). Groovy! These edible petals make a beautiful garnish. Calendula originates in Europe, North Africa, Macronesia, and West Asia. Calendula means “little clock” or “little calendar.” Sometimes referred to as “poor man’s saffron,” the petals are edible and may be used to add beauty and flavor to fresh salads, soups, or to color cheese. Triangle Flashback Calendula was bred by seed guru Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seed. 24″ tall plants.
