Description

Feline, honey bee, and beauty lovers out there, catnip is for you. A vigorous grower, catnip quickly spreads smooth, mint green foliage and lavender spires up and out 2.5-3.5 feet. The leaves are used in herbal teas for their relaxing properties and stomach soothing effects. Farm kitties, Patty and Flossy wholeheartedly endorse this product (and they’re brilliant queens)!

Planting Instructions:
Optimal soil temp for germination is 70F.  Direct sow Catnip as soon as soil can be worked or start indoors 3-4 weeks beforehand.  Transplant at or thin to 12-18″. Row spacing: 12.″

All of our seed is Non-GMO and Certified Organic by Washington State Department of Agriculture. We grow the majority of our varieties here at Deep Harvest Farm on Whidbey Island while we purchase the rest from other small, organic Northwest seed growers. Finally, all of our offerings are open-pollinated (OP) so that you too can save and share seed from these plants!
