Arugula – Astro

$4.25$30.00

Description

Astro is a vigorous, all-season, cut and come again variety with long, silky leaves and nutty flavor. Mild and very tender as a baby green, gaining a bit of spice with maturity. Still, overall not as sharp tasting as your standard arugula. At Deep Harvest, we like bunching mature arugula rather than bagging baby leaves to avoid using plastic bags while speeding up harvest. Use the nutty-flavored flowers to beautify salads or stir-fries. Astro is a favorite at farmers markets and with our farm share customers.
