Choi Sum – Green 70 D

$4.25

Packet (~400 seeds)

Description

A unique Asian green prized for its thick, succulent stems and mild, sweet flavor. Popular in Taiwan and China, it’s commonly stir-fried, cooked in soup, or eaten as its own dish steamed with garlic or soy sauce.  We love Choi Sum in our spring and summer CSA shares as its versatility and lack of bitter or spice makes it a crowd pleaser!  Harvest when the stems are juicy and the flower buds are beginning to open. This variety snuck its way into a spring rapini trial back in 2019 by mistake and blew out the competition with its flavor and texture. We haven’t grown rapini since but are hooked on choi sum! Seed grown by Organic Farm School.
