A vigorous open-pollinated broccoli with dark blue-green, tender heads and a staggered maturity window. In 2012, we trialed eight open pollinated broccolis and this strain, developed by Dr. Jim Meyers at Oregon State, was the all around winner for its consistency and impressive head size. Ever since, we’ve selected it for the largest, most dense and uniform heads, and we’ve landed on a broccoli we are proud to sell. Best for spring and early summer with prolific side shoot production.
