Note: Germination rate for this crop is 65%, below our normal standard but still above federal minimum. We will pack 2x as much seed into this year’s packets so you can double your planting rate to ensure good germination.

Also known as sea-lavender, Russian Statice is an eye-catching and beautiful addition the flower garden. Long, striking pink spikes of tiny flowers on 24″ plants will continue to regrow with regular cutting. Russian Statice flowers hold their color well after dried and make for long lasting bouquets. Farmer Annie’s absolute favorite flower in our offerings for it’s wild, zany vibes and a butterfly favorite too!

Planting Instructions:
Sow Russian Statice indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Ideal temperature for germination is 65-75F. Seeding depth: 1/8″ Transplant at 8-12″ spacing

All of our seed is Non-GMO and Certified Organic by Washington State Department of Agriculture. We grow the majority of our varieties here at Deep Harvest Farm on Whidbey Island while we purchase the rest from other small, organic Northwest seed growers. Finally, all of our offerings are open-pollinated (OP) so that you too can save and share seed from these plants!
