This unique variety of Nigella (AKA “Love in a Mist”), is distinguishedly-large, boasting fluffy, white 2” double blooms. Wondrously, its twisty bright green centers turn into deep plum-colored decorative seed pods. The light ferny foliage adds elegancy to any bouquet and the pods are a dried flower fan’s dream. Albion Black Pod Nigella truly inspires whimsy and wonder. Humans and pollinators love ‘em, but deer don’t!

Planting Instructions:
Direct sow Albion Black Pod Nigella in early spring. Optimal soil temp. for germination is 65-70°. Planting depth: press seeds onto surface. Do not cover, keep moist until germination. Thin to 12″.
